King and Queen Nominations

The Blossburg Coal Festival is seeking nominations for this year's King and Queen. We’re looking for candidates for King and Queen who are current or past residents of Blossburg, Arnot, Morris Run, or Covington areas.

Candidates must be 30 years of age or older and have some type of association with the mining industry or a descendant of someone who was.

The 18th Annual Coal Festival King and Queen will be crowned on Friday, May 27th, 2011 at 6 pm on Island Park and will ride on the Royalty Float on Saturday, May 28th, 2011.

Prince and Princess Contest

Your little one could be the Coal Festival's next Prince or Princess.

The contest is open to children ages 4 to 8 living in the Arnot, Covington, Morris Run and Blossburg. The Prince and Princess are chosen by Random Drawing and must be available to ride the royalty float on Saturday May 28, 2011. (All contestants are invited to ride on the float)

Registrations are $5.00 per child
